Abstract
"Five subspecies of Salvadora hexalepis, two of them described herein, are recognized. The known ranges of the races are mapped, and it is shown that one scale character of diagnostic importance varies from south to north as a 'step cline' when populations are segregated primarily on pattern characters. A key to the races is supplied"--P. 12.
