Abstract
"In the revision of Amerhinus only three species are considered valid, the others being transferred to other genera. Lobaspis is removed from its synonymy with Cholus and is re-established as a valid genus of 12 species, of which six are new: maculatus, dresdeni, orbignyi, unilinea, lentiginosus, and epemoebus. Both genera are from South America. One species breeds in palms but no biology is recorded for other species. Photographs of the species and drawings of the genitalia of males are presented"--P. [1].
