dc.description.abstract"Myrmecophyes oregonensis (Hemiptera, Miridae, Orthotylinae, Halticini) is described as new from central and south central Oregon. This is the first record of the genus from the Western Hemisphere. Information is provided on the male and female genitalia, femoral trichobothria, and pretarsus. This saltatorial antlike species apparently breeds on the native perennial bunch grass Agropyron spicatum"--P. [1].en_US
