Abstract

"The African termite genus Foraminitermes is redescribed, and its phylogeny is discussed. The genus name 'Ceratotermes' is relegated to synonymy. Two new species, F. coatoni and F. harrisi, are described and illustrated. The soldier of F. tubifrons and the imago of F. valens are described and illustrated for the first time. Foraminitermes corniferus, F. rhinoceros, F. tubifrons, and F. valens are redescribed and illustrated"--P. 21-22.
