Examples of species poorly represented in museum collections were also collected, including Nycteris thebaica, Chalinolobus variegatus, and Scotoecus hirundo. Ecological notes were recorded; embryos and parasites were collected and preserved. Seventy-one species are now known to occur in Sudan"--P.
