The relationships of Orphana with other andrenids are discussed. As a result of an analysis of anatomical features, it is decided that Orphana belongs to the Andreninae. This same analysis shows that the monotypic Chilean andrenid subfamily Euherbstiinae must be regarded as a synonym of the Andreninae"--P.
