Seven new species are described: S. juangrandica and S. wunderlichi from Grand Canary; S. medano from Hierro, Tenerife, and Lanzarote; S. haria from Lanzarote; S. galletas and S. taganana from Tenerife; and S. costacalma from Fuerteventura. Adult males of S. canaricola (Strand), and adult females of S. convexa (Simon), S. atomaria Dalmas, and S. teideensis (Wunderlich), are described for the first time.1606706 bytesapplication/pdfen-USQL1 .A436 no.3338, 2001ScotognaphaSpiders -- Canary IslandsSpiders -- Madeira Islands -- Selvagens IslandsArachnida -- Canary IslandsArachnida -- Madeira Islands -- Selvagens IslandsA review of the ground spider genus Scotognapha (Araneae, Gnaphosidae), and its radiation on the Canary and Salvage Islands.
