Lectotypes are designated for the following species: A. angulare, A. californicum, A. concinnum Mannerheim, A. dentigerum Horn, A. difficile Matthews, A. effluens Mannerheim, A. exiguum, A. globatile LeConte, A. laetum Fall, A. pulchrum LeConte, A. rotundulum Mannerheim, A. rubellum Fall, A. ruficorne LeConte, and Phalacrus difformis LeConte.
